🗑️ Account & Data Deletion

If you wish to delete your Ödexi account and all your data, follow the steps below. Data deletion is INSTANT and IRREVERSIBLE.

⚠️ Important Warning

Deleting your account does NOT automatically cancel any active Premium subscriptions you started via the App Store or Google Play Store. To cancel your subscription, please visit the relevant store's subscriptions menu (Apple ID > Subscriptions or Google Play > Payments & Subscriptions).

📱 Delete Account from the App

The fastest way to delete your account is directly from the App:

  1. Open the Ödexi app and sign in
  2. Go to the Settings tab in the bottom right corner
  3. In the 'Account' section, tap 'Delete My Account'
  4. Read the warning text and confirm by entering your password
  5. Your account and ALL data will be deleted INSTANTLY

Once deletion is complete:

  • The app signs out automatically
  • Your email address is removed from Supabase Authentication
  • All payment data, profile information and notification records are permanently deleted from the PostgreSQL database
  • Your FCM token is deleted; you will no longer receive push notifications

What Is / Isn't Deleted?

✅ Deleted

  • ✅ Email and password (Supabase Authentication)
  • ✅ Payment records, installments, bills (PostgreSQL)
  • ✅ Payment history and "paid" markers
  • ✅ Profile information (display name, language, currency preference)
  • ✅ FCM token (push notification subscription)
  • ✅ Notification history
  • ✅ Crash reports (Sentry / Crashlytics — within 90 days)
  • ✅ Analytics events (PostHog — anonymous, within 12 months)

❌ Not Deleted

  • ❌ App Store / Google Play purchase history (held by Apple / Google)
  • ❌ Active Premium subscription (manual cancellation required, see warning above)
  • ❌ Tax / accounting legal records (deleted after the statutory retention period)

✉️ Request via Email

If you cannot access the app or for any other reason cannot delete from within the app, you can request deletion via email:

  • To: [email protected]
  • Subject: Account & Data Deletion Request
  • Body: State your registered email address or user identifier and indicate that you are requesting deletion of your account

We process such requests within 7 business days at the latest and send a confirmation email. We may request additional information for verification.
